Economic Development and Fiscal Policy Committee
The Economic Development Committee addresses issues relating to the New Hampshire economy and state economic development policy. The Fiscal Policy Committee examines issues around state government spending and taxation. The committees meet concurrently on the second Friday of each month at the BIA office in Concord. Meetings begin at 8:00 AM and are open to BIA members.

8:00 to 8:30 a.m. - Focus on Workforce Housing Legislation
Ben Frost, deputy executive director & chief legal officer for New Hampshire Housing will provide a comprehensive overview of the many housing related bills still alive in the 2024 legislature. He will explain what each bill hopes to accomplish and update the committee on where the legislation stands in the legislative process.
8:30 to 9:00 a.m. - 2024 Session Update
BIA Staff will review economic development and business tax related legislation as we approach "Crossover," the halfway point of the 2024 legislative session.
