The Workforce and Labor Policy Committee addresses issues relating to labor regulation, healthcare, health and safety, workers' compensation, employee-reporting requirements and other HR-related legislation. The committee meets the third Friday of each month via Zoom will meetings beginning at 9 a.m. All committee meetings are open to BIA members and invited guests.

2. Rep. Chris Muns of Hampton will join the committee meeting on the 17th. Rep. Muns spent a significant amount of time over the summer compiling ideas for an omnibus childcare bill. It was not filed for the 2026 session as he wanted more feedback, particularly from the business community on the financing aspects of the proposal.
